๐ŸŽ€ {Roaccutane} My Journey To Clear Skin {The First Month} ๐ŸŽ€

Hello daffodils! ♡
So, this post is a little different to my usual content but I hope it'll prove helpful in some way! I've decided to start a six month course of Roaccutane (commonly referred to as Accutane) in the hopes that it'll cure my acne once and for all..!
Before we begin I'd like to talk a little about my experience with acne as I've been suffering with it for some time now. I don't remember exactly when it began but I believe it was around my tenth year in secondary school when I started to notice changes in my skin, it definitely flared up by my last year and was a huge persistent problem during my year of college. Having acne during secondary school isn't uncommon so I wasn't particularly concerned about the longevity of it at the time, it definitely made me feel really self conscious though! I started to feel more insecure about it after I left secondary school, it wasn't horrendously bad during the Summer for some reason but a few months into college it really flared up and there were noticeable changes in my skin's condition and the type of acne I was suffering with - every spot that I got was a cystic nodule rather than a typical acne spot - I was sixteen at the time. ❀
I hoped that it would go away with time but I started to lose faith in that notion when I was around eighteen.
It definitely felt like it wasn't going to go away on its own! My doctor prescribed me an antibiotic named Lymecycline which I would take everyday, he also gave me a topical Acne cream named Adapalene, we hoped that it would keep my acne at bay whilst it cleared itself up... spoiler; it didn't! After two years and three courses of Lymecycline it was obvious that my acne wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. Whilst taking the Lymcycline my skin was clear but the moment I stopped taking it my acne would flare up again and I'd be back to square one.
I'd avoided Accutane for years because I'd heard so much about it from other people. It always seemed like an insanely extreme drug due to all the side effects but I'm at the point now where I really just want my acne to go away and stay away! Accutane is my last option..!

I finally gave in and was referred to a dermatologist to be assessed for Accutane. ❀ I'd had several blood tests prior to this to make sure that my liver hadn't suffered any damage (due to taking an antibiotic) but I had to have a fasting blood test before my appointment. A fasting blood test is just a normal blood test but you're not allowed to eat or drink anything (except for water) and you have to be really careful to make sure that it's performed on an empty stomach. We were hoping that the results would be back in time for the appointment but the situation with the NHS database being hacked and such kind of delayed that.
We agreed to try a six month course of Roaccutane and slowly increase the dosage overtime. The nurse who's going to be overseeing my case (she's super nice) reassured my concerns and mentioned that Accutane has a 97% success rating - it's a cure for acne rather than a prevention drug! I had to sign a bunch of forms before I could be prescribed Accutane which honestly was a little daunting. I'm not sexually active or anything so pregnancy really isn't a pressing issue for me, therefore I don't have to take birth control but I did have to sign a form stating that I was aware of the dangers of pregnancy on Accutane and if I were to enter a sexual relationship with someone that I'd be willing to take the necessary precautions. There are a few other things that are noteworthy such as wearing contact lenses and beauty procedures; you can't use any type of hair removal wax on your skin (and for four to six months after) and they generally recommend that you avoid wearing contact lenses because your eyes can become dry overtime.

I'm now taking Accutane daily (I had to wait a week before I could begin my course whilst the Lymcycline worked its way out of my system) and I'd really like to share my experience with you! There are a lot of horror stories online about it but I couldn't find a ton of genuine normal non exaggerated experiences and hearing so many worrying tales definitely delayed me in taking Accutane.
Hopefully I'll be able to make monthly updates on my skin's progress with you!
๐ŸŽ€ Week One: 19th July to 25th July ๐ŸŽ€
My first week of Roaccutane is officially over..! I've been taking it for seven days now and I've definitely noticed some changes in my skin already. There have been a few other things that I've noticed too but I can't really be sure if it is because of the medication or if it's due to the fact that I've recently been recovering from a bout of the good old-fashioned sore throat and cold so I'll leave that out of today's update!
Before starting my course with Accutane I did do a fair bit of research so I was semi-prepared for some of the changes!
With that being said the first change I've noticed really took me by surprise! My skin has gotten a lot redder! I haven't really suffered with redness in a long time with my skin, I dealt with it a couple of years ago briefly but it's never been a pressing issue. A few days after starting the medication my skin started to get really red, it's definitely redder around my nose, on my cheeks, chin and my T-zone.
Secondly, my skin is definitely starting to get dryer which was something that I was expecting. I'm also noticing a few bumps in my skin too, I was warned that I'd most likely break out during the first few weeks to the first couple of months of taking Accutane so I'm not too worried about this...!

๐ŸŽ€ Week Two: 25th July to 6th August (a little over two weeks) ๐ŸŽ€
There have been a few changes in my skin's condition! I've had a minor break out including a cystic nodule on my chin which has been really persistent and painful but I've also had a few minor spots on my face including around my nostrils and on my chin (just under my lower lip - it's quite bumpy). My skin has gotten much dryer this week particularly around my eyes, the skin just under my eyes and at the corner of my eyes is really dry, I've also noticed dryness around my mouth. It's definitely noticeable when I'm wearing make up. The redness in my skin seems to have gone down considerably since the first week but it's still redder than normal. My lips are also starting to dry out which was to be expected..!

I'm going to look into changing my skincare routine to see if it will help, I've usually used products that have helped with oily skin (because of my excess oil caused by my acne) so I definitely need to use products that are aimed towards dryer skin now!

๐ŸŽ€ Week Three: 25th July to 11th August ๐ŸŽ€
I'm now twenty three days into my course, almost to the one month mark! There's been a few changes in my skin this week, it's definitely getting dryer and dryer...! The skin underneath my eyes is much dryer than last week and it's quite difficult to mask with make up, my skin is beginning to flake in areas. My nose is also really dry, my nostrils too! Right now the most uncomfortable thing for me are my lips, they're really dry at the moment and beginning to crack. I have a small scab on the left side of my lips because of this, it was bleeding a lot earlier this week.
The last thing that I've noticed this week are my hands, they're also beginning to get really dry despite using hand cream every night especially in between my fingers. I've been using BioOil during the night to try and add back some moisture into my skin.
Also, I tried plucking for the first time since starting the course. I'm usually a wax and go type of girl since waxing gets it over and done with pretty quickly so plucking was a little uncomfortable for me (definitely still prefer waxing) ❀. The areas (my upper lip and eyebrows) that I plucked were a little dryer than usual afterwards but other than that it was absolutely fine!
Next Wednesday (16th August) will be my second appointment at the clinic! It's almost hard to believe that it's been nearly a month since I started with Accutane ❀
I'm determined to see it through to the end!

Thank you for staying with me through this really word heavy post!
I truly appreciate it! <3 ♡

Thank you, as always, for reading! ♡♡♡

❀ Liz Lisa Tokyo Kawaii Life Mini Haul ❀

Hello sweet flowers! ❀
It's been quite a while, hasn't it? Thank you for being so patient with me! I hope you've all been doing well! ♡
I really need to be more persistent with my writings but honestly I've been lacking motivation for some time now. There are quite a few things that I'd love to share with you but I've been feeling a bit camera shy so it's been a little difficult for me to take photos for a lot of the items that I'd like to review! Regardless I'm going to be as resilient as I can be..!
I'm absolutely positive that the majority of you have seen the new Liz Lisa collection by now. How cute!! I've really enjoyed their 2017 collections. Anyway, they recently released some darling new pieces (including a dress that I'm just desperate to buy) and I splurged on a new jumper for the upcoming Autumn. It's a little amusing to me because all through last year's Winter and earlier this year I complained repeatedly about the cold but oh my goodness it is so ridiculously humid! I feel like I'm melting constantly!
I also purchased two sale items, a choker necklace and the most adorable little make up bag ever!

Here's the jumper (LL 175-3009-0) I splurged on, it retails for 6,480 Japanese Yen (including tax)! Isn't it adorable? ♡ I really couldn't resist when I saw this, Liz Lisa released something similar earlier this year that I really wanted in white but unfortunately missed out on (it did get restocked in pink the day after I made this order though) so I really wanted to get this. I've been enjoying the off-the-shoulder style more and more recently, I think it looks really elegant and cute!
I really love the skirt that it's been paired with too (it's also the same pattern as the dress I want, did you guess? ❀), I'm not really used to longer skirts though... but it looks so graceful!

It's super soft as well which is such a relief. I've never mentioned it here before (I don't think) but I have really sensitive skin and it gets easily irritated by different materials so buying jumpers is always a bit of a plunge for me because I can never tell whether or not they'll harass my skin until they get here. Fortunately it's also cruelty free! Sometimes Liz Lisa use Angora fur in their products which is a no-go for girls like me.

This jumper is so so pretty, I'm so happy with it! I adore the embroidery detailing as well, it adds such a cute little touch to the jumper!
I paired it with the new choker that I purchased too, I think they look really cute together...! The choker itself is really nice quality and it's comfortable too. My neck is pretty sensitive as well so I've always had a bit of difficulty with chokers but I was able to wear this one for hours and I barely felt it on my neck. ♡

Isn't it adorable? ♡ I've got next to no self control when it comes down to cute make up bags and this one is so pretty! Truthfully, I very rarely use these bags for make up products because I'm so hesitant to get them dirty! How cute are the little rabbits? The bunny ears too! ♡ The bag is actually pretty spacious and it has a zipped area at the bottom too which I think you can use to store makeup tools and brushes. It's definitely convenient for travelling. ❀

That's everything from me today..! I'm sorry for being so inactive here, I really want to start posting more. ❀
I have been really curious to know what type of things you prefer to read, do you enjoy hauls? ~

Thank you so much for spending some time with me and for reading this little post! ♡♡♡

๐ŸŽ€ Liz Lisa's Pink Blush ~ Review ๐ŸŽ€

Good morning petals! ♡
How are you?
I feel like I haven't posted here in quite some time! Hopefully, I'll be able to post a few things soon as I have a couple of hauls and first impressions that I'd love to share with you here sometime in the foreseeable future! I hope you've had a lovely June so far! I actually can't quite believe that it's already June, this year has absolutely flown by.
So, today I wanted to talk about an all time favourite make up product from the lovely brand Liz Lisa! Although Liz Lisa is a clothing brand they, in the past, produced a few make up and beauty products including lip glosses, blushes and eyelashes. I do hope that they'll release them again in the future...!

I've actually had this blush for quite some time now and I'm beginning to run out (sadly) but because I've used it so much, I wanted to share it with you. Now I should mention ahead of time that I'm no make up guru - in fact I'm not very knowledgeable at all - and I have very little by means of a make up collection so there isn't much for me to compare it to but with that said I must say that I absolutely love this blush! ♡
It is a powder blush rather than a creme one and I purchased mine in the pink colour, I believe they released a coral colour as well.

Haha, as you can see I've definitely used mine a lot! Anyway this blush is really lovely, it's such a pretty pink colour which is perfect for a Himekaji or Gyaru make up look. It also has a highlighting effect too, tiny little sparkles which help to add dimension to your cheeks and make up. ♡
Personally, I like to apply it directly to my cheeks for a sweeter and innocent look! It's pigmented and you can build up the colour depending on your preference, I enjoy applying my blush a little heavier but this blush is really universal so it works perfectly for whatever you please whether you prefer a lighter dot of colour or more noticeable rosy cheeks.

This blush has the prettiest packaging too! Even after I've completely used up the blush I'll keep the packaging for display because it's far too lovely to throw away! I also adore the little box it came in because it's so princess-y...! ♡
Honestly, I couldn't tell you the price of this blush because I purchased it so long ago and I do believe it was in the sale at the time for about 1500 Japanese Yen or so.

Unfortunately, I can't speak or read Japanese although I'd love to learn it one day and therefore I've never been able to translate the back of the blush but here it is!
I'm still not quite confident enough to share a photo of myself yet so sadly I don't really have a swatch to share with you! I hope that's okay...!
Pros:
๐ŸŽ€ Pigmented and buildable
๐ŸŽ€ Easy to apply
๐ŸŽ€ No need to reapply during the day.
๐ŸŽ€ Precious packaging!

Cons:
๐ŸŽ€ No longer produced?
๐ŸŽ€ Expensive
So there we have it! My very short review and opinion on the wonderful Liz Lisa blush! I do hope that this was in someway helpful for you...! It's a shame that Liz Lisa are no longer selling this blush, perhaps they will in the future? Oh well, a girl can dream!

Thank you as always dear flowers for spending some of your precious time here with me!
Please have a lovely day! xx

♡Favourites; The Month Of April♡

April is slowly coming to an end and May is just around the corner. I'm looking forward to, hopefully, warmer weather as April has been unusually cold! I do miss the warm Summer days and the sunshine but it seems that little old England is to be plagued with Winter weather for a little longer. Anyway, how are you doing? I hope April has been a good month for you!

Since April is coming to an end I thought why not share a few of my favourite things with you! I really enjoy monthly favourites as they often introduce me to new things that I may never have found otherwise although, I'm sure that you have without a doubt heard of these ones already...!

๐ŸŽ€ Etude House Face Blur Primer ๐ŸŽ€
Honestly, this isn't a monthly exclusive rather it's a holy grail product! I've been using this primer ever since it was first released but I wanted to mention it here as I recently repurchased it. I'd love to write a more in-depth review of this at some point to share some of its qualities with you but it truly is an excellent primer. It makes a wonderfully bright and smooth base for your foundation or BB cream.
Etude House now has a global website so that you can purchase their products all around the world!
Yet another product which has been a forever favourite! I absolutely love this lip tint from Etude House (have you noticed a small pattern) I do need to repurchase it in the other colours offered but for now I grabbed my favourite shade OR201. It's more of a peach coral shade, it's not red nor is it pink rather its a blend of the two of them. I do prefer lip tints over other lip products and so far the ones by Etude House have been my favourites!
๐ŸŽ€ Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy Perfume ๐ŸŽ€
I just have to talk about this beautiful perfume! I love perfumes particularly sweet feminine and floral scented ones. This perfume has such a lovely scent, although I wouldn't describe it as floral, it is very girly and sweet - not to mention the packaging is adorable! But perhaps the thing that I love the most about this perfume is knowing that it is completely cruelty free which is ridiculously difficult to find these days as most perfumes and fragrances are tested on animals. I'd definitely recommend trying this perfume if you love girly scented perfumes or if you're simply looking for a perfume that is cruelty free.♡

๐ŸŽ€Etude House Silk Scarf Repair Hair Essence๐ŸŽ€
Honestly, I think out of everything this is my absolute favourite! I was given this hair essence by my lovely friend Hope at Christmas and it's such an amazing product! I'd really like to talk about it in more depth one day but it's an essence that is designed to help prevent split ends and to keep your hair strong and healthy. I use it every time I wash my hair and run it through the body of my hair when it is still damp, it smells and feels amazing and I do feel that it's helped prevent split ends! I would definitely recommend trying this product!
๐ŸŽ€ Black Desert Online ๐ŸŽ€
This favourite is perhaps a little strange...! I recently started playing Black Desert again after taking a little break, I returned for the Dark Knight release (whom I love and is now my main) and I've been playing it consistently for the month of April - no wonder I've been so unproductive! Anyway, it's a really fun Fantasy MMO and I'd highly recommend it to everyone and anybody who has an interest in fantasy or in MMOs!
๐ŸŽ€ Liz Lisa Skirt ๐ŸŽ€
I just had to throw in a Liz Lisa favourite and this print is one of my favourites! I've had the pink version for a little while now but recently bought the white/brown version of it. Honestly, I haven't really been able to wear it much this month as I had to tighten the elastic in it because it was too big to fit properly but it's such a lovely skirt and I can't wait to get more use out of soon! Isn't Liz Lisa just so gorgeous? ♡
So, those were my April favourites. I don't really have many but I hope this post was okay all the same!
I hope you're all having a lovely day and thank you so much for reading my newest post!
Take care flowers! ♡

♡Diary Entry; It's Spring Once Again♡

It's official, Spring has sprung...! And what a busy start to the season it has been although I do feel that I've been a bit of a lazy flower who is a little late to bloom. ♡
Sadly, I haven't had much to review or post here these past few weeks so I thought why not share some little things and outfits with you today.
Also, sometime ago I posted a few simple facts about myself on my Instagram and wanted to share them here too!
Truthfully, I haven't really done much throughout the months of Spring other than walks through the park and spending time with my beloved family and my lovely friend Hope!
♡6th April 2017♡
Liz Lisa Skirt and Cardigan
But now that I'm truly thinking about it, I can't remember ever talking about myself in any type of detail to you! I'm a fairly boring person but I do hope that these ten small facts will be slightly interesting for you!
๐ŸŒน I love roses and anything rose related from fragrances to the packaging of products! It is by far my favourite flower (cliche I know)
๐ŸŒน I'm a very Picky eat and I've been vegetarian for about 13 years now.
๐ŸŒนI love Disney! Mulan, Belle and Marie are by far my favourite female characters!
๐ŸŒนI'm a bookworm and I love to read and write! My favourite series is by Tamora Pierce and it's called Song Of The Lioness
๐ŸŒนI've never been kissed before or been in a relationship (but please no creepy boys)
๐ŸŒนI love pearls! They're so precious
๐ŸŒนI really enjoy history (particularly classical history) and psychology. I studied both of them briefly.
๐ŸŒนI'm very shy! Although unrelated I've been diagnosed with GAD or General Anxiety Disorder.
๐ŸŒนI absolutely love and adore animals! I have a 9 year old dog, he's a German Shepherd Border Collie cross and I love him to death!
And that's it! Those are my ten small facts about myself! ❀
On another note, the outfit above is one from earlier this month (I think) and I must admit that I'm absolutely in love with Bordeaux pieces! I never really used to feel comfortable in darker shades
particularly Bordeaux but oh how things can truly change ❀. To give you a small rundown; I paired this beautiful Liz Lisa skirt (it has the cutest little ballet shoes on it) with this stunning white embroidered blouse, some maroon socks from Primark and my Liz Lisa bordeaux cardigan! My hair was something of a fluffy lion that day but I hope you won't mind!
The other day {16.04.2017} I visited my close friend at the Cat Cafe that she works at, I would truly love to share the name with you but I fear for her privacy and wouldn't like to reveal her work place
♡16th April 2017♡
Liz Lisa Jumper and Skirt
without her permission! It's always so lovely to spend time with her and with the cats of course, they have the most gorgeous cats at the cafe - they are so so cute! ♡
As silly as it may sound to some I do find it a little difficult to feel confident in skin coloured tights but I'm slowly becoming more and more comfortable in them. I actually love wearing them now and pairing them with ridiculously cute socks! This navy Liz Lisa skirt is without a doubt one of my favourites, I wear it far too often...!

๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€๐ŸŽ€

But I feel that I've taken up too much of your time today... I do have to apologise for such an uninteresting post. I hope that I'll perhaps have the time to write about some of my favourite products and maybe review the small few that are coming in the mail soon!

I do hope you're all doing well, I'd love to hear about your day!
I hope you've had a lovely Easter, if you celebrate it and if not I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!

๐ŸŒนPlease take care flowers!๐ŸŒน
Thank you so much for reading!

♡ The most beautiful Liz Lisa coat ♡ Accio Tokyo SS

Hello my loves! ♡
Thank you as always for joining me here on my blog. I truly appreciate every single one of you who view my posts!
So I may have cremated my bank account once again... I say 'may' and by that I mean I have most definitely buried my savings six feet under! I didn't think that I could possibly spend anything greater then the simply stunning dress I purchased from Liz Lisa and wrote about a few posts ago in my Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly post but I have proven myself wrong!
In February (at least I think it was February) Liz Lisa released a breathtakingly beautiful coat! It was featured in Popteen's February edition (oh how I wish I could get my hands on their magazines). Needless to say I fell utterly in love with the design, however, love is never easy particularly when the price tag is enough to make you cry. Unfortunately the coat actually sold out online just minutes before I was going to purchase it!
As a frantic last effort I decided to give Accio Tokyo a try hoping that they would be able to find it in one of the many Liz Lisa stores for me as it was evident that it wasn't going to be restocked online.

I wonder if you were able to guess that this was the coat I was talking about? This adorable coat comes in two different colours: pink ใƒ”ใƒณใ‚ฏ(010) and beige ใƒ™ใƒผใ‚ธใƒฅ(020). It features a scalloped edging and gorgeous embroidery detailing. however, this coat comes in at a whopping 17,064 Japanese Yen (including tax)! I do believe that this is the most expensive thing I've seen Liz Lisa sell other then the swimming attire, fukubukuros and Halloween editions!
I did indeed choose to order the beige version of this coat! Although I must say that I wouldn't call it beige as it is most definitely a lighter brown colour.
So, how does Accio Tokyo work? ♡ Honestly, it is just like any other shopping service with added features, unlike other shopping services (such as Tenso and Japonica Market) Accio Tokyo offer an in-store shopping service as well as the usual online and auction services. I definitely think that their in-store service is such a good idea and I imagine it's quite useful to lots of Japanese fashion lovers for limited edition or newly released items and Fukubukuros.
They do have a different set of fees for their in-store service which they calculate based on the total amount of your order and travel expenses. The easiest way to view travel expenses is to compare them to a domestic delivery charge that you would usually pay with services like Buyee and Tenso. Unlike other services the service fee is decided based on whether or not your order totals at a particular amount (10,000 Japanese Yen) rather then a percentage. The fees are 2,950 Japanese Yen for orders up to 10,000 Yen or 4,950 for orders from 10,000 yen - lots of numbers! My order total was above 10,000 Yen so my service fee was quite expensive although from what I understand those are the two standard fees so I imagine if your order totals at say 50,000 Yen your service fee would remain at 4,950!
I do have to admit that the service fee made me contemplate as to whether or not I wanted to proceed and although I debated using a different service Accio Tokyo was the only service that were able to help me with my order!
Upon emailing Accio Tokyo they quickly phoned the Liz Lisa closest to their location and confirmed that there was indeed one of the beige coats in stock! After receiving my payment they phoned the store to put the coat on hold until they could pick it up the next day and hooray for me as they managed to get me the last beige in stock!
Once my order arrived at Accio Tokyo I was able to fill out a shipping form. Accio Tokyo offer several methods for shipping including EMS, Registered Airmail and I do believe they offer SAL too if memory serves me! Alternatively you can ask them to ship it via the cheapest method and they will pick the method that will suit your request. They also allow you to choose your preferred packaging you can opt for a box or a bag or let them choose whichever option would suit your order best. Before finalising your shipping form you can add any additional instructions but please know that for legal purposes they cannot decrease the package value or mark it as a gift! So perhaps if you're ordering something expensive it would be best to keep a little back in case you're handed a customs charge.
Phew, that was an incredible amount to read! Thank you if you're still with me!
Anyway! My coat arrived right on time in a secure shipping bag (the packaging I picked), I do believe it took about six days which is to be expected as I picked Registered Airmail as my shipping method. Miraculously I did not receive a customs fee! I was bracing myself expecting to be charged around £40 due to English customs but I somehow managed to escape it - I'm definitely not complaining though! Also, to my surprise Accio Tokyo sent the shopping tote bag along with my coat which was such a kind gesture as I do love hoarding collecting them and the coat was inside a plastic bag as shown which is very usual for Japanese purchases.
It is as precious in real life as it appeared in the stock photos - if not more so! I absolutely adore everything about it and I know that I'm going to be wearing it constantly! I've been using the same two coats for quite some time now and I'm so ecstatic to add this one to my wardrobe,
There are so many beautiful things about this coat that I would simply love to show you but I fear that this post is both too long and quite picture heavy so I do apologise! I'll try to not keep you for too much longer!
The detailing is simply stunning and the scalloped edging is such a lovely unique touch! To my surprise there is rose detailing on the back of the coat too underneath the collar which is absolutely precious... really the coats design is truly to die for!

I do hope that the quality of the photos is decent enough for you to see as unfortunately I lack the ability to take high quality photos as of this moment!
So I do have a couple of photos of me wearing this gorgeous coat but they really aren't attractive in terms of quality! I hope that I'll be able to take some nice photos soon to share with you! I also must apologise for the general layout of this post, I'm still stumbling forward in my little baby steps!

So... how did I find my experience with Accio Tokyo?
I definitely recommend Accio Tokyo as a shopping service! They're very helpful, responsive, informative and polite and I cannot fault their Customer Service at all! My order was processed and completed quickly and easily and shipped immediately after I placed my shipping request. The only thing I feel that I must mention, and this is completely me and not a fault with the company, was the service fee for my order...unfortunately I did feel that it was slightly expensive but I do understand why they charge it, however, I do think that a percentage based service fee may have worked better and would perhaps be preferred.
~Pros~
✿ Fast and informative responses
✿ Lovely customer service
✿ They handle special requests for your order and shipping
✿ Range of services available including in-store or online shopping.
✿ They can receive orders in both English and German

~Cons~
✿ Service Fees can be expensive.

You can find Accio Tokyo at their official website here, at their Facebook page and their Instagram account.

And that's it!
That's my review of my experience with Accio Tokyo! I hope you enjoyed it and I do think I'll use their service again in the future when there is something that I cannot get online.

Thank you as always flowers!
With love,
Jess xxx

LUSH American Cream Hair Conditioner

Hello again!
Today I wanted to try my hand at reviewing a product that is fairly new to my routine. I'd like to talk about a hair conditioner from LUSH! I received a bottle for Christmas from my parents as it is a product that I've been dying to try for a long time. I recently repurchased a bigger bottle because I love it so much!

"American Cream
Bring all the boys to the yard (yep they went there) with this strawberry vanilla milkshake conditioner. Double strength and extra creamy to leave your hair gorgeously soft and smelling sweetly.
A milkshake-thick conditioner with a strawberries and cream fragrance to leave your hair soft and shiny. Fresh strawberries help cleanse the hair, and are rich in vitamin C, We've added a splash of orange juice to add gloss too, since its acidity makes the hairs' cuticles lie flat and allows it to reflect more light. To top it off, this contains soothing clary sage and calming lavender for your scalp."
First of all the scent! This conditioner smells absolutely amazing! Like the description says it smells like strawberries and vanilla and it's such a lovely combination. One of my favourite things about this conditioner is how long the scent lasts, usually most conditioners will make your hair smell nice for a day or so at the most but this conditioner keeps my hair smelling lovely and divine until wash day which is a welcome change!

Honestly, my hair isn't damaged, dry or brittle so I really couldn't say if it is effective or not but my hair does feel so soft and silky after using this! I've been using this conditioner for just over a month now and it really helps me to keep my hair looking its best.
One of the best things about LUSH products is their policies. This conditioner is completely cruelty free! Naturally this is a huge selling point for me because I'm very much against animal testing.
The only downside is that this conditioner is a little pricey but truthfully it's completely worth it in my opinion. I definitely can't imagine using anything else to condition my hair now that I've tried it.

You can purchase this conditioner from the official LUSH site for £4.95 (100g), £9.95 (240g), £16.50 (475g) or £27.50 (950g).

Pros:
* Cruelty Free
* Smells amazing and lasts for a really long time
* Makes your hair really soft and silky

Cons:
* Expensive

Well, I think that's everything for my first shot at a review. Please let me know how I did! I hope this wasn't too boring or tedious to read...!
And, I absolutely must apologise for the quality of the photos...! I don't have an official setup yet so they're a little potato-ish... I'm so very sorry!

Thank you as always for reading!
See you next time ~

Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly

Hello and welcome to my first post!
How are you all? I'm praying for warmer weather and lighter evenings soon, I really don't withstand the cold well at all! I'm particularly looking forward to this years summer as me and my family will be visiting Keswick once again, we usually go annually but we couldn't last year and I miss the clean air and beautiful mountains quite a bit!

I've noticed recently that I've been playing the same song on repeat for quite some time - the ending song to the live action Disney Cinderella movie Strong by Sonna Rele! I'm not even sure if I can possibly express it in written words but the lyrics sing to me in a way that not many do.

I've spent the past few years of my life wishing that I could be strong in a way that I've never been before and perhaps a small part of me takes comfort in the lyrics! I've always valued kindness as a trait and kindness is a reward within itself.

Anyway enough babbling from me!

In preparation for (hopefully) warmer weather I decided to splurge on a new dress from the Liz Lisa Spring Innocent Flower Girl collection! I've never in my life spent so much on one clothing item and I do hope it will be worth it, here's praying that it fits well and suits me.

It's this one right here! It cost a whopping 9,936jpy and honestly that was without the domestic shipping fee so it was quite a big chunk of my savings. It's such a beautiful piece though so I do hope it will look as nice on me as it did on the model!

I'm officially banned from shopping though! No more Liz Lisa for me until my bank account has had a sufficient funeral and resurrection. My close friend also purchased some beautiful pieces from the new collection so I can't wait to see how they look on her!

Is there anything in particular that you're excited for this Summer? Other than Keswick I'm excited for the warm weather, day trips with my family and spending time with my friend!

Thank you for reading!
I hope you're having a lovely day!
